We Were All Smiles, Especially Discovering the New Control Panel Dec 3, 2025

Oct 25, '25, our Carrier furnace (almost 21 years old) had condensate from the heat exchanger leaking on the floor. We turned the furnace off. Since it was Saturday morning, I waited until Monday to call PACE. PACE installed this Carrier HVAC system, gas line, and ductwork in Jan 2005 when we remodeled. We were so impressed with EVERYONE'S friendly, professional, respectful attitude and work ethic then. And, it hasn't changed. Monday contacted Joey and Mary (Office Manager). Within a day, things started to happen. * Jake, technician, verified and tested the furnace, needed to be replaced. Jake has done furnace and routine service calls here in the past. * Adam assisted us with our options, our selected proposal, and financing. We had already decided that if we had to replace the furnace, we would also replace the A/C, which was 21 years old as well. * Dadwin and Anthony installed the new Carrier HVAC system and carted the old one away on Monday, Nov. 3. They were amazing! By 5:30pm had us comfortably setting our temperature parameters for night, day, and away, on our new SMART thermostat. Impressive! We were all smiles, especially discovering the new control panel was so very much more user friendly than we were used to. * Jeff, the technician, came a few days later to test the furnace and AC. * The city inspector, Jeff, gave it a thumbs up a few days later. * Mary and Joey were so great in scheduling and answering all our questions. Saturday, Oct. 25th we were without a furnace and by Monday, Nov. 3rd, 2025, we had a new Carrier HVAC system running and, shortly thereafter, had passed city inspection. AMAZING! Thank you so much!

Our AC unit shut down during the recent 100-plus temperature heat wave. I called Pace and they scheduled a timely service call. Alex was our tech and he figured out the problem quickly and installed a new capacitor, which solved the problem. Alex also gave me great tips on how to manage my heat pump. Great quality service. We both experienced a power outage on Friday. Phones were out. Mary apparently checked caller ID and reached out to me on Sunday. Had a tech to me in less than an hour. Problem solved.

My furnace quit working. Mary, at PACE, was able to schedule me a time the next day with a tech. Jeff with PACE was the tech. He was wonderful. He recognized the issue, but then noticed where the hot air on my roof was coming out of the wrong place. He fixed the issue, which could have created problems down the line on my roof. Jeff—thank you for being wonderful! I appreciated you taking care of my furnace. The best!

I called about an issue with my furnace, and Jake was at my house within 20 minutes and had diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes, and then informed me the motor was covered by warranty, saving us over a thousand dollars! What a relief it was to hear this, and I couldn’t be happier with their service!

Alex is terrific. My air conditioning was not working, and in approximately one hour, he diagnosed the problem and had my unit up and running. I will certainly recommend Pace Heating and use them in the future for my heating and air conditioning issues.

We needed an upgrade to our anemic whole-house A/C, and I called quite a few HVAC companies for quotes on what to do, some sort of split system for the two stories; and I was really surprised how many don't really seem to know what to do if it isn't a straightforward install. Pace was the first where, speaking to Craig, he actually knew what he was doing, had suggestions and information that turned out to be true facts when I then looked into the products online, and gave us a solution ("ductless" ducted heat pump for 2nd floor) that made sense. The quote was entirely reasonable for the work being done. Adam was the lead tech who did the install, and he was fantastic. I'm very happy with the new system, it took a little creativity and some real knowledge to get this done right. It's working great this winter heating our 2nd floor, I'm looking forward to the summer and having really effective A/C in our bedrooms.

I called around to try and get quotes to do an installation. We wanted to learn our options for heating and cooling our home. It was odd because a lot of places didn't seem like they wanted our business. However, Pace was super friendly and helpful. We felt their prices were reasonable and they offered some fantastic financing too! Craig feels like he might be a part of our family now. 😅 The technician that installed our ductless system made some last-minute changes so that everything would look nice from the outside of our house. He did the work to the level of quality that he would do to his own home, and I'm so happy he did. He was such a nice and thoughtful professional. And my house is going to be nice and chilly ❄️⛄️ this summer. Thank you Pace!
